This website is currently undergoing a facelift and has had a change of name from ASD Creation Station to Teaching Creation Station!
They say to practise what you preach and I am forever preaching how all children should be given access to the supports that help them to reach their full potential. This is one of the reasons for the name change. My resources, ideas and supports are for ALL children, if and when they need them, not alone for children who have a diagnosis of Autism.
When I started my Instagram page, and subsequently this website, ‘ASD’ was the term used to describe those with a diagnosis of Autism. I taught in an ASD Unit (unit is a word I have never used to describe my classroom!) but as many of you know, the ‘ASD’ label hasn’t sat right with me for a long time, in fact no label does.
So from here on in, this website will be known as Teaching Creation Station. My ideas, resources and courses are for ALL educators, ALL children and ALL parents so I hope you will continue to support me and this website in the same way that I hope to continue to support you all.
Over the coming weeks and months I will be continuing to revamp and update this website so make sure to follow along and subscribe (at the bottom of the page) for new blog and miniblog alerts, new resources, free downloads and resources.
